The answers, simply.
Ask a question
161 question(s)
Guadeloupe souvenirs: how to protect them in your suitcase
How to avoid folding postcards in luggage?+
Place them between two clean, stiff boards slightly larger than the cards, then slide the set into a dry pouch on a flat surface. Avoid placing hard objects directly on top.
Is rolling a card to save space a good idea?+
It's best to keep it flat. Rolling can deform the paper, which will be especially noticeable if you later want to frame it.
Where to find baggage and weight rules?+
Review your carrier's conditions for your trip and ticket. This article's packing advice is not a transport rule.

Handmade gifts from Guadeloupe: choosing clothing for a child
Can a child’s garment size be chosen based on age alone?+
Age gives a first indication, but sizes vary depending on body shapes. Ask for the currently worn size and check the measurements or indications of the chosen model.
Should you choose a larger size so a gift lasts longer?+
It's best to check that the garment fits at the time it will be worn. An adaptable piece may offer adjustments or other uses, without justifying an initially unsuitable size.
What information to share with parents along with the gift?+
The model name, care instructions, and for an adjustable piece, a link to the guide explaining the settings and different ways to wear it.

Guadeloupe-inspired decor: arranging a wall of illustrated cards
What is the size format of the workshop cards?+
Postcards are in A6 format, 10.5 × 14.8 cm. Also check the orientation of the illustration and the visible frame opening chosen.
What width to allow for three A6 cards side by side?+
Three vertical cards take up 31.5 cm in width. With two 3 cm gaps, count 37.5 cm excluding frames. With frames, use their external dimensions for the calculation.
Is it necessary to use three identical frames?+
This isn’t mandatory. Identical frames simplify alignment; different frames can work if you keep a color, material, or spacing link.

Guadeloupe souvenir shops: planning your first T-shirt stock
How many options result from 3 designs, 2 colors and 5 sizes?+
This yields 30 distinct combinations. With two pieces each, the total stock is 60 T-shirts. This example illustrates the calculation and is not a minimum order.
Should you order the same quantity for all sizes?+
Not necessarily. Rely on past sales or track initial requests to adjust. Also note sizes sought but unavailable, which don’t appear in completed sales.
What to prepare before requesting a reseller assortment?+
Describe the store, its clientele, available space, your schedule, and planned combinations. Specify quantities and the destination to enable discussion about terms and restocking.

A local Caribbean brand: preparing your illustration brief
What should a brief include for a local brand illustration?+
The territory, audience, desired atmosphere, some commented references, materials, exact wording, and schedule. Add what already exists and what remains to be defined.
Do you need drawing skills to prepare the project?+
No. Reference photos and detailed explanations are enough to present your idea. It's especially useful to explain what interests you about each reference.
Can the same design be used on a T-shirt and a small accessory?+
A design may need adjustment to stay readable depending on format and medium. Indicate intended uses during briefing to define variants and conditions with the creator.

On-demand printing in Guadeloupe: planning your shop project
Does print-on-demand eliminate the need for stock?+
No. The materials and elements needed for printing must remain available. The setup mainly allows creating the final combination after the client's choice, rather than preparing all variants in advance.
Is it possible to train a sales team to work this way?+
Technical training and support for the customer experience can be integrated into a professional project with the workshop. The content depends on the equipment, products, and chosen organization.
Can we guarantee immediate printing?+
The lead time depends on organization, availability of materials, and workload. It should be communicated based on the actual situation before the order is confirmed.

Corporate gifts in Guadeloupe: planning a project with a local workshop
What information to provide for a corporate gift?+
The occasion, recipients, quantities, intended formats, graphic elements, work budget, date, and delivery location. These points help prepare a tailored proposal.
Is it necessary to know the sizes of all recipients?+
When working with clothing, organize size selection. If you don’t know the recipients, you can consider unisex options without sizes and clarify distribution constraints.
Is a logo enough to get an accurate quote?+
Also specify the medium, quantity, desired placements, delivery or pickup date and location. Creating graphics and printing from an approved file involve different tasks.
