Bar T-shirts: creating a collection for your regulars

A bar often has familiar landmarks: its sign, counter, terrace or a phrase regulars know. A clothing collection can carry that identity and become a reminder of the place. The key is choosing something that still makes sense when worn elsewhere. Atelier Karaïbes can discuss this project for your bar in mainland France, the Caribbean or another European country.

Build a design around the place

Choose something you want people to recognise: the bar’s name, frontage or a drawing that captures its atmosphere. If you use a phrase, consider how it reads from a distance and outside its original context. Short wording leaves room for illustration. Provide the exact spelling of the name, including accents and punctuation, to keep all items consistent.

Separate the permanent range from special editions

A main design can anchor the range while an anniversary or event gets a variation. Avoid launching too many dates and versions at once: each series adds sizes and quantities to track. For a special edition, set your preferred sales date and confirm the preparation schedule before announcing it to customers.

Make buying simple during busy periods

Customers need to see the design, understand the available sizes and know how to buy. A displayed sample with clear information can help. Store the stock in a clean, labelled area away from preparation space. Decide who can retrieve a size and take payment so a T-shirt purchase does not interrupt counter service.

Create something people will wear day to day

Visibility for your name matters, but so does the garment itself. Compare the planned styles and colours, then consider how much space the artwork occupies. A small front mark and a back illustration feel different from a central design. Placement options are agreed with the workshop for the style and project; do not decide solely from a logo on a screen.

Prepare your enquiry from France or Europe

Share your brand assets, photos of the bar, the variations you want and an idea of quantities. Include the country, town and target date. We can discuss a ready-to-sell range with printed labels and bags for mainland France, the Caribbean and elsewhere in Europe. Artwork, garment styles, replenishment and transport terms are agreed for your business.

A workshop and logistics in mainland France

For your projects in France and across Europe, we have a dedicated workshop and stock storage facilities in mainland France. Your collections are prepared there and dispatched from mainland France.

Useful answers

All questions
Can we keep our main design and add an anniversary edition?

Yes, a project can combine a permanent range with a special variation. Specify quantities, sizes and timing separately for each series.

Do we need many colours from the start?

A focused selection makes display and stock tracking easier. You can develop it based on actual customer requests.
